Job Purpose:

As a member of the Talent Management team, this individual will be responsible for the collection, analysis, reporting and communication of talent, engagement and people related data (metrics/measurements) and finding correlations using information from key partners and systems across HR, and the organization. This role supports the business by providing valuable insights based on datasets to improve talent, culture, and organizational efficiency.

What you will be doing:

  • Bring problem-solving and critical thinking to deliver analytics supporting HR goals and objectives and business strategies.
  • Work with the Talent Management team to develop effective and relevant measures, metrics.
  • Accountable for the analysis, interpretation, and reporting of employee data used for operational and tactical decision making and planning strategically.
  • Will own analytics, reporting, data exploration, deep-dive analysis, and interpretation of information using multiple datasets for Rexall’s employees, and optimally communicate the narrative behind the information being analyzed.
  • Play a key role in advancing the development of HR analytics and reporting capabilities, tools, and methodologies via various platforms (e.g.: ADP Workforce Now; Microsoft Excel and Power BI).
  • Utilizing information and synchronizing multiple data sources including market research, external benchmarking, database mining, and HR systems to generate meaningful insights to assist our business in making accurate and informed decisions, along with process improvements.
  • Finds opportunities to evolve current processes, analytics, and reporting by making recommendations for key measures that drive engagement, talent development and leadership behaviours through analytics.
  • Working collaboratively with an #ALLin demeanor to streamline, develop and automate dashboards, data visualizations and reports to support the internal business partners including but not limited to HR.
  • Research, design/recommend analytical modes, models, and mediums to improve performance reviews, succession planning processes, and post-talent review actions
  • Be a champion for data governance, data management standard methodologies and data quality, including supporting business-wide data governance initiatives and maintenance of HR's internal data dictionary.

How you will succeed:

  • 3+ years’ experience in HR Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics and/or related fields, as well as experience working with an enterprise HR System; ADP WFN is an asset.
  • College Diploma/BA/BS in business, statistics, or related field
  • Ability to understand HR processes, data and reporting needs to develop creative analysis approaches, provide key data-driven insights, and tell a compelling story.
  • Experience with business intelligence (BI) software, data models and data visualization tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience in the creation of trending overviews, executive summaries, and written recommendations, including best practices.
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Self-starter with past experience working with confidential information, in a professional manner.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task, plan, coordinate and prioritize work.
