What you will be doing:

  • First point of contact for supporting analytical requests from the business. Acting with a sense of urgency, develops models/reports that provide actionable insights for business partners.
  • Support Merchandise & Pharmacy reporting and adhoc requests. Provides support to business & finance leadership, offering expertise to address a wide range of business cases & analysis.
  • Can become an expert in creating financial models in Anaplan (Rexall’s cloud-based FP&A tool), obtaining Anaplan Certified Model Builder licence to support professional development.
  • Work with the business to move from siloed excel planning templates to create connected driver-based models in Anaplan (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow & CAPEX). Actively engages in all aspects of sprint lifecycle: requirements, design, development, UAT & deployment.
  • Own all aspects of Anaplan model maintenance, including forecast roll overs, end user support, enhancements, source system reconciliations & CAPEX reporting.
  • Reporting subject matter expert supporting the MicroStrategy Dashboard project. Actively participates in development sprints (requirements, design, UAT) and ensures all new reporting is accurate & complete to support effective decision making.

How you will succeed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting preferred.
  • Completion of or enrollment in CPA designation preferred.
  • 3-5 years relevant work experience in an FP&A role with support of forecasting/budgeting, working with the business & reporting.
  • Ability to operate with ambiguity & ability to reverse engineer processes & tasks.
  • Confident, self starter who can work independently, multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines to achieve objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Anaplan model builder designation an asset.
  • Experience with RPA software an asset (e.g UiPath).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite, including complex excel modelling, power query, power BI, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Rexall Pharmacy Group ULC
