What you will be doing:
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for the loyalty program, from concept through launch, optimization, and ongoing enhancements.
- Define and maintain the product backlog, prioritizing features and improvements that align with customer needs and business goals.
- Create and collaborate on UX deliverables such as wireframes, user flows, mock-ups, storyboards, site maps, and interactive prototypes to clearly communicate product requirements and ensure alignment across design, development, and business teams.
- Oversee L2 support contractors to ensure smooth daily operations, timely issue resolution, and alignment with product objectives.
- Develop and manage release roadmaps for the loyalty program, ensuring timely delivery of new capabilities and optimizations.
- Lead Sprint Planning, Program Increment (PI) Planning, Governance and Backlog Grooming Sessions, working closely with Rexall stakeholders and partners to ensure seamless execution.
- Bring strong knowledge of mobile app and web development practices to support effective planning, communication, and execution with development teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Work with technical teams to manage dependencies, timelines, and technical debt, ensuring scalability and stability of the loyalty program.
- Communicate product plans, status updates, and key results to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to assess vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective delivery of technology solutions supporting the loyalty program.
How you will succeed:
- Minimum of 5 years of digital product management and release management experience
- College diploma or undergraduate university degree in a related discipline or a combination or experience, education and/or training deemed to be equivalent
- Proven experience in digital product ownership, with a track record of successfully managing the development and delivery of digital products, especially loyalty programs in a retail/healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of mobile app development processes, including the ability to collaborate with development teams to ensure effective implementation on iOS, Android and web platforms.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent written and oral communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with marketing, development, design, and other teams.
- Experience in product roadmap creation and management, prioritizing initiatives and balancing stakeholder needs with technical feasibility.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and execute independently.
