Reporting to Director, Merchandising Operations, the Manager, Micro Space Planning and CKB will lead the team of Space Planners and manage CKB database which is a cornerstone of the JDA Category Management Suite (in house space planning team).
Principal Responsibilities:
- Accountable for managing 4+ direct reports, whose actions will directly impact performance of the front store through planogram and floor plan analytics and design.
- Collaboratively designs the annual Planogram Schedule with a cross functional team and manages its execution through direct reports and collaboration with merchants and central operations
- Ensures that all planograms are created accurately, on time and following merchandising store standards.
- Responsible for the solution design, implementation and everyday execution of the Relational Space Database (CKB)
- CKB (Category Knowledge Base), is cornerstone of all the JDA Intactix Suites (Space Planning, Floor Planning, Data Manager, Console, Builder, Assortment Optimization and Space Automation).
- This role is responsible to maintain 100% database integrity as this is the sole source of Space Data for Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd. Determine all the BRV (Business Rule Validation) requirements, build and script these routines using JDA Space Automation or .net framework.
- Ensure all required Advanced Space Analytic Reporting and Highlighting is created and available (100% accurate) before published.
- · Understand integration requirements between all JDA Suites and Cross Functional dependent systems.
- Partnership with IT CKB key users
- Identify opportunities, and make recommendations for process improvements
- Comply with Health and Safety legislation and policy and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned to support Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd.
Knowledge, skills and experience:
- Minimum College Diploma
- JDA Category Management Certification
- IKB/CKB Data Management
- Minimum 3-5 years of working within JDA Category Management Suite
- Minimum 2 years of IKB/CKB Management
- Strong Analytical, Communication and Presentation skills
- Proven ability to lead multiple internal and external partners to coordinate and execute activities
- Problem solving and process management skills
- Strong time management and organization skills,
- The ability to multi-task and adapt to change
- Creative and enthusiastic
- Proficient with MS Office suite, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Context and Environment:
The job holder must be able to interpret merchandising needs, translate them into space planning activities and relate it back to the store environment. Fast paced environment and changing business needs that require an excellent understanding of the JDA Category Management Suite with the ability to facilitate change and to be creative. Must be able to prioritize and work on many projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines in order to achieve desired results.
