Principal Responsibilities:


· Lead and inspire store staff, to ensure all corporate information is communicated to employees efficiently.

· Manage cash, inventory and shrinkage.

· Maintain and communicate all ShrinkWatch and Health and Safety initiatives within the store.

· Practice and support Human Resources corporate policies.

· Set clear expectations and provide performance feedback in order to support strong employee performance.

· Delegate daily merchandising, inventory receiving, custodial, clerical, and operations related responsibilities to the store team.

· Ensure in-store marketing processes are followed and marketing material is posted properly as per store planograms.

· Submit daily, weekly, and monthly Key Business Indicator (KBI) Reports for sales, inventory counts and ad hoc requests.

· Meet and/or exceed the profit-model created for the store by maintaining and optimizing inventory to the profit model.



Knowledge, skills and experience:


· 3 - 5 years supervisory/management experience in the Retail Industry accompanied with a business related education

· Demonstrated superior customer service and people management skills

· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

· Exceptional multi-tasking skills with the demonstrated ability to adapt to change and handle and diffuse unforeseen situations

· Experience using a POS system is considered an asset
