The Keyholder is instrumental in supporting the management team by handling cash deposits, supervising staff in the absence of senior managers, and addressing customer needs effectively. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service role with responsibility for opening and closing procedures.
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
  • Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in French is an asset.
  • Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the workplace.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a retail environment.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
  • Certification in first aid or emergency response.
  • Additional language skills to support diverse customer base.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and mentor team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Open and close the store or business premises according to company policies, ensuring all security measures are followed.
  • Manage cash handling procedures including cash register reconciliation and bank deposits.
  • Supervise and support team members during shifts, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the premises to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards.
  • Report any incidents, maintenance needs, or security concerns to management in a timely manner.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock organization as required.
