Reporting to the Operations Manager, HCCSS, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for the daily operation, scheduling, routing, of the main facility located within Hamilton. The main warehouse facility will be responsible for directly serving customers but also supplying assets to the satellite operations as required.
What you will be doing:
- Has regular one on ones with the Operations Manager HCCSS, and the HHC Lead to ensure proper communication flow is maintained with the central office and the satellite operations.
- Communicates directly with HCCSS office to resolve more complex delivery and service issues.
- Creates work schedules to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of home health equipment to respective clients.
- Ensures all scheduled and urgent deliveries are completed in accordance with the HCCSS contractual guidelines, within their specific geographical area as well as organizing regular replenishment and pick up orders to the satellite warehouse. The Warehouse Manager is considered the Hub of the Hub & Spoke Model.
- Ensures inventory levels of required home health care equipment are maintained to meet HCCSS client requirements.
- Ensures company standard operating procedures (S.O.P.), policies, and procedures are followed, including those related to health & safety practices.
- Monitors and addresses performance issues with warehouse staff, including drivers, pickers, and cleaners.
- Audits all necessary paperwork, including daily delivery logs, pick-up and delivery forms, and vehicle maintenance logs. Distributes paperwork to appropriate personnel as well as handling cash and balancing.
- Books and attends vendor training sessions to ensure innovation is maintained within the HHC assortment. Provides recommended changes to the formulary to the HHC Lead.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support Rexall Pharmacy Group ULC
How you will succeed:
- Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
- At least one year’s related experience is required.
