Reporting to the VP, Talent Management, the Director Talent Attraction is responsible for leading the sourcing, recruitment and attraction of candidates to Rexall Pharmacy Group as well as leading a Talent Attraction team. This position works directly with business leaders and HR colleagues within Rexall Pharmacy Group to understand and align with key business priorities, hiring volumes, and initiatives for talent attraction needs, both current and future.
What you will be doing:
- Plan, design & implement a national recruitment and sourcing strategy, ensuring that effective recruitment/retention programs and policies are in place organization wide.
- Work closely with HR partners, Operations and RSC hiring managers to create and implement effective talent acquisition processes, tools, methodologies, relating to recruitment, assessment, and selection of talent.
- Lead benchmarking and implementation of best in class practices for recruiting talent for all areas of the business, through a keen awareness of current labour market skills shortages and staffing trends.
- Continuously improve recruitment by sharing standard methodologies, understanding business needs, and brand strategy
- Develop innovative approaches to position Rexall in marketplace to attract the highest quality of talent
- Continuous networking in healthcare community - builds and maintain relations with community members, hospital foundations and government representatives.
- Set and maintain annual budgets as it relates to RSC & Field recruitment
- Source new vendor relationships and maintain all existing vendor relationships ensuring negotiated agency costs are in line with recruitment strategy
- Provide various workforce metrics as it relates to new hires, retention, turnover, sources of hire, etc.
- Build the annual Recruitment and Campus Recruitment Strategy ensuring we are attracting high quality students & interns into our business
How you will succeed:
- 6 - 8 years professional experience in Talent Attraction
- Experience in the retail sector is a definite asset.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Experience in dealing with and influencing senior executives.
- Experience developing innovative and creative approaches to recruitment.
- Superb planning and an ability to execute sophisticated initiatives and lead multiple projects
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Customer focused professional approach.
