Brand Marketing Specialist

Job Purpose:


Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Brand Marketing Specialist is responsible and accountable for executing national integrated marketing programs that contribute to the growth of related Rexall businesses and the Be Well loyalty program.


Principal Responsibilities:


· Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on brand, pharmacy, Front shop, and loyalty marketing programs that support the pharmacy, Front shop, and loyalty experience including brief development, creative evaluation, approval process, tactical execution and store communications.

· Engage cross-functional partners, including but not limited to, Marketing (signing, Front Store, social media, digital, flyer), Pharmacy Services, Category, Loyalty, Operations, and external agency partners and vendors, to activate programs which support the marketing priorities.

· Develop and execute an annual content plan that aligns with Rexall’s marketing strategy and supports pharmacy, Front shop, and loyalty business priorities through owned marketing channels (signing, social media, digital, flyer, and more).

· Support the tracking and reporting of integrated marketing campaign results, translating results into clear insights and presenting key findings to guide strategic decision‑making.

· Perform other duties as assigned to support Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd.


Knowledge, skills and experience:


· University or college degree in business, marketing or an equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job and businesses marketed

· 3-5 years of relevant work experience in pharmacy and/or marketing

· Experience collaborating with external agencies

· Exceptional interpersonal skills to build partnerships to effectively source information, obtain approvals and build relationships

· Creative problem solving, a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment

· Attention to detail, strong project management skills

· Strong ability to prioritize multiple projects to set and manage priorities to meet deadlines, all within a multi-tasking environment with changing priorities

· Strong writing and presentation abilities

· Familiarity with digital and standard marketing channels


Context and Environment:


Able to perform in a fast-paced environment, where abilities to manage multiple projects and resources while working on several different assignments at the same time and meeting deadlines are essential. Able to deliver results and build programs in line with brand principles and brand standard methodologies.


Internal Communications:


Able to effectively communicate with all levels within Rexall, including but not limited to marketing, pharmacy, loyalty, category departments, and more.
